Dragon Heist

In Dragon Heist, you play as dragons! Our main characters in this game are two dragons who unfortunately, have had their treasure horde wrongfully stolen from them from an evil sorcerer. Now it is up to you to help them meet justice and take back what’s rightfully theirs.

Each player will have to take the reigns of one of the two dragons: A Sneaky Thief Dragon or a Powerful Warrior Dragon. Each of these dragons have their own unique mechanics, abilities and playstyles. Both players will need to work together to infiltrate the fortress of the evil sorcerer and reclaim their stolen treasure.

Dragon Heist is a game created for a Grad class at RIT. I was the 2D artist and animator for the characters, as well as the audio designer.

My team members included:

Pharo’s Tale

Here is the trailer for my Senior Cpastone that I worked on with a team. I was the project manager, modeler for the main Ferret, made the animations for the Ferret, and coded some of the UI. Here is the link for the game files https://maya-mcd.itch.io/noodle-skadoodle

Environmental Design

This is my final Senior project in Environmental Game Design. This video captures the outdoor world I created which leads the players into the dungeon section. The story for this project is:

An old Western town decides to move to an ancient land where they discover magic of untold power deep within a dungeon. Tampering with forces out of their control, they awaken evil Bone Dragons that seek to destroy the living. Without any defences, the Western town gets demolished, and leaves no survivors. Only the player is left to discover the tradegy and magic this place holds.


Kira the Huntress

This game, Kira the Huntress, was made for my Multimedia and Game Design course. It was made through Unity and the goals of this project was to put together a side scroller game with multiple levels and different enemies the player can destroy.

Lighting

Here is a scene called Attic Studio which I lighted in Maya and Nuke. The original authors are  Jeremy Vickery and  Alex Mateo.

3D Character Design

Final game design project in 2022 to create a unique character. This character represents the battle between nature and technology.


3D Environment Modeling

This interior design was modeled after a game, the goal of this project was to replicate an interior space using pictures as reference for the area.
